New Year's Resolution for 2024

For nearly 15 years, I’ve spent my career conducting quantitative and qualitative research for brands and companies, generating insights about consumers or other critical audiences that help my clients grow and succeed. I have been fortunate to work for globally renowned brands as well as small, innovative startups. From helping Weber understand the needs of grillers to refining the customer target for a new cryptocurrency exchange, I’ve had the pleasure of working across a variety of categories and customers bases.

In addition to my more traditional market research projects, I’ve also conducted a fair bit of social impact work for nonprofits, government agencies, and small brands with social missions. I ran polling work for the Connecticut Paid Family Leave campaign to show both voters and business support for the policy (which eventually passed in 2019). I helped the New York State Department of Health understand tween and teen attitudes toward sexual assault and harassment, with an eye toward messaging for the Department’s next campaign. And in just this past year, in partnership with Purpose, I helped a national early childhood education coalition in their campaign to fight for higher wages for teachers.

This work has been deeply meaningful and fills me with pride—not necessarily more than my market research work, but in a way that connects me and brings me to closer to issues that affect me personally, and that I care about passionately.

I intend to keep working with all kinds of organizations, from the Fortune 500 to the local nonprofit, but in 2024 I am committed to pursuing more social impact work and taking on more nonprofit and small brand clients.

I’m particularly interested in helping brands and organizations locally, in my community among the Connecticut Shoreline. There are so many small businesses that are not only providing amazing services and products, but are also making a difference in the lives of the people who work and do business with them. I want to help them grow by uncovering insights about their business and the people they serve (or want to serve).

I look forward to servicing all of my clients and in 2024, I resolve to pursue more social impact work with nonprofits, government agencies, and small local brands. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you think your business or organization might be a good fit and could benefit from the work I do.

 Happy New Year!
